Breeding conditions:

A pair of wolves were observed in the last dates of July. Brown Bears were less abundant than previously.
Two eider broods containing 8 chicks in total appeared on the lagoon in late August. Herring Gulls were unusually abundant, and we counted approximately 200 birds feeding on the lagoon or in the sea near-by. A pair of Ravens nested on a borderline tower, and a nest of Rough-legged Buzzrds containing 2 young chicks was found in August on a rocky slope.
